Given that my Shelter-in-Place Comfort Music is "Sea Shanties," things were bound to get weird. Those old sing-along tunes were work songs for the sailors and the rhythm and the rhymes got them through the tough jobs with a sense of camaraderie.
We have much work to do in fighting this pandemic - and my hope is that we will find a groove, lift each other up and do the hard work required to get through these troubled times. Maybe a modern-day sea shanty will help? I'm hopeful-ish.
